One Person, One Vote!

Houston Ethnic Media is a nonpartisan organization that believes in the power of every person to create a perfect democracy.

Together, we support the desire, right, and knowledge for all to participate and be heard.

“One Person, One Vote”, expresses the principle of equal representation in voting. This slogan is used by advocates of democracy and political equality, especially concerning electoral reforms like universal suffrage and proportional representation.

We report on incidents of voter rights, and voter suppression and challenge those who seek to restrict Black, brown, female, disabled, and other Americans from making their vote be known.
