American Community Media (ACoM) develops multifaceted, culturally relevant communications projects and public awareness campaigns that engage, inform, and connect underrepresented communities. ACoM works in partnership with the community media sector, reaching audiences not served by traditional mainstream media and helping to ensure their voice — their ideas, needs, and concerns — are part of the public discourse.

ACoM has a long history of partnerships on local, state, and national initiatives such as the 2020 Census, the City of Houston, Environmental and Voting Rights, and Immigration.

We welcome new partnerships with organizations, media outlets, and advocates who share our commitment to amplifying diverse voices and fostering inclusive dialogue.
